My Spinning Guild

I belong to the Greater Los Angeles Spinning Guild and we meet every forth Saturday. Our guild has about 60 members and on average, about 30 show up each month. Though the guild, I’ve met many fun and like-minded fiber enthusiasts. We come from all backgrounds, live in far flung communities, and our lives are busy as most of us are responsible for taking care of others. But we save this special time for ourselves and have fun when we meet to spin, knit, share stories, and plan our next get together.

The church where we met is bright and spacious.

Yesterday’s program was about from fleece to yarn.

Someone brought a hatbox spinning wheel
