Warning! These photos can make you nauseous.

I’ve been reading Photography and the Art of Seeing by Freeman Patterson and he recommends throwing out a few rules, including “Always hold your camera steady”. So I experimented with moving the camera as I take the photos. After about 100 shots, I end up with these.

Camera on the tripod and zoom out as I take a shot of the lantana.

Moving the camera quickly up or down as I take a shot of a clump of switchgrass.

Same switchgrass. I don’t know how the blue color sneaked into the photo. I like it. Very abstract.
