Tacoma, Washington – Encore

The Tacoma bridge and dome in the early morning hours.

The Madrona Fiber Retreat must have been blessed because we had dry weather in the Seatle/Tacoma area while it was raining cats and dogs in southern California. But it was freezing and this picture could have been a lot better if there wasn’t ice on the water surface. Oh well, one can’t ask for everything.

We were getting ready for dinner when I looked out from our hotel room and saw this spectacular view of Mount Rainier.

And since we were here for the Madrona Fiber Retreat, it would be amiss if we do not have a fiber photo. So here’s my friend’s Bohus knitted sampler in the Blue Shimmer colorway. Great job, Denise!
