Encina Power Plant

I was near the Encina power plant in Carlsbad for a work-related meeting and whipped out the camera to take a picture of this old relic. It was built in 1954, very inefficient, but still running and artificially contributing to the tide in the Agua Hediona lagoon because water-cooling.
