Fair-Isle Heart Socks

I love to dye and the sock machine came along because I could never knit fast enough the yarns that I dyed. So lately, me and my sock machine are on a roll going though my dyed stash. I’ve been dyeing using this method from Dyepot Confidential. It is perfect for me because I prefer variegated colors that harmoniously blend together.

The yarn for these socks is Wool2Dye4 Silk Sock 50/50 based on the red color way. It has deep reds, orange highlights and a bit of fuchsia. The hearts pattern is kind of a flop but I love this production shot. The plastic legs were unbalanced so I put them up-side-down and the light from the ceiling lights up the toe without any shadow.
